Metro Police Investigate An Attempted Abduction Near Oklahoma Christian

Oklahoma Christian University is warning of a man who allegedly grabbed a woman Monday night on the school’s running trail.

The alleged incident happened about 6 p.m. Monday on the northwest side of campus near Boulevard and Smiling Hills Road, OC said.

Police say another family on the trail confronted the man who cursed at them before running away.

Oklahoma Christian called the incident an “attempted abduction” in an email to its students.

There are a couple descriptions of the suspect, but the most detailed is from the Edmond Police Department’s Facebook page.

It describes the suspect as a black male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, thin, light-skinned with an Afro in his early 20's.

OC campus police are helping Oklahoma City police with the investigation.
