OSBI To Hold News Conference In Carina Saunders Case
OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) will hold a news conference Wednesday to release new information in an investigation into the murder of Carina Saunders.
According to the OSBI, Thursday, October 13, 2016, marks five years since human remains were found behind a Bethany grocery store. The medical examiner’s office identified the remains as 19-year-old Carina Saunders.
The Bethany Police Department requested OSBI special agents take over the investigation more than a year after the homicide. Since then, OSBI special agents and many other law enforcement officials in the metro area have followed countless leads. However, OSBI special agents have not identified a suspect.
At 2 p.m. Wednesday, the OSBI will hold a news conference to announce a substantial reward in the case and discuss what investigators need from the public.
