Trial Against Embattled Love County Sheriff Delayed

A trial to decide if the embattled Love County sheriff will be removed from office has been delayed.

Jury selection was scheduled to take place Monday afternoon, but instead it has been pushed to December.

Sheriff Joe Russell also faces criminal charges for harboring a fugitive and maintaining a house where drugs were kept.

Russell is currently on paid voluntary suspension.
