Morning weather data still shows the threat of severe weather across parts of the state Tuesday.

I still question how many storms form and how severe they will be -- great lift overhead with a strong jet stream. However, morning clouds and the lack of deep tropical moisture could limit how much energy can build up ahead of the dry line, which would mean the storms are more isolated and not as severe.

The highest threat of severe weather looks to be Clinton- Hinton area north to the Alva-Ponca City area. Here in Oklahoma City they'll likely be weakening as they move in during the evening.
