Outdoor activities at the Oklahoma State Fair resumed around 6:30 Saturday evening, following severe weather.
Oklahomans attending the fair Saturday evening were forced inside exhibition halls as severe weather passed through the area.
Fair organizers made an announcement over the loud speakers, urging all fairgoers to take cover. Booth along the midway and elsewhere outside were closed until further notice. The announcement said lightning was the main threat at the time.
