Bicyclist Hit By Car In Bethany

A bicyclist was hit by a car late Monday night at NW 39th Expressway and Council Road. 

Bethany police are investigating the driver of the car for drunken driving. The driver also had a child in the car. 

The cyclist condition is unknown but was transported to the hospital. Police say the bicycle had a blinking rear light and "all the appropriate markings." 

NW 39th Expy is closed now but will be reopened before the Tuesday morning commute.
