Canadian Co. Investigators Uncover Child Porn During Drug Investigation

An Oklahoma City man, already in hot water over drug charges, is in more trouble after investigators uncovered child pornography on his cell phone.

Canadian County sheriff’s deputies arrested 23-year-old Zachary DeJulio at a SW OKC apartment complex back in late August 2016.

Originally DeJulio was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. At the time of his arrest, DeJulio’s cell phone was seized as evidence.

While searching the phone for evidence of drug-related transactions, investigators reportedly discovered child pornography, including a graphic video of a child being sexually assaulted.

Investigators also came across a conversation between DeJulio and an unknown person, in which DeJulio allegedly talked about raping his 11-year-old sister. Further investigation revealed that DeJulio did not have any siblings.

According to the report, DeJulio confessed to the drug charges, child pornography and the chat conversation. He was booked into the Canadian County Jail on one count of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one count of Possession of Child Pornography. Bond was set at $25,000. He is still in jail.
