Rollover Crash Involving 2 Semis Reported On EB I-40

Posted: Updated:

Emergency crews are responding to the scene of a rollover crash involving two semis on EB I-40.

First responders were called out to the crash on the eastbound side of I-40 near Harrah Rd. The cause of the crash has not been determined, but one of the semis left the road and ended up in the trees just off the highway.

Two people were transported from the scene via ambulance to local hospitals. Their injuries are non-life threatening, authorities say.

Authorities have closed the outside lane of EB I-40 while crews work the scene. Traffic in the area is backed up more than two miles because of the crash, and could be backed up for hours to come, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department..
