OKC Police: Two People Shot During Attempted Home Invasion

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A resident and a suspect were shot during an attempted home invasion in northwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at a home at N.W. 36th and Morgan Rd. According to police, just before 2 p.m. a man inside the home called 911 for help. While officers were responding to the scene, they learned that two people, including a resident and a suspect, were shot.

Both are alive and have been transported to the hospital in unknown conditions.

Police said the other suspect left the scene in a black Lexus and is still at large. Officers have not released a detailed description at this time.

Two children were at the home at the time of the incident.
