Police Arrest Two People In Connection With Del City Homicide

Metro police arrested two people Wednesday in connection with a Del City homicide.

Angelo James, 19, was arrested on a murder complaint and Sharhonda Alexander, 22, was arrested on an accessory to murder complaint.

Del City police were called about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 4900 block of Michael Place. When police arrived, they found James Johnson, 36, with a gunshot wound. 

Investigators think an altercation happened between two men leading to one man shooting the other. Police said James and Alexander fled the scene in a vehicle. 

Johnson was taken to a hospital where he later died. 

Oklahoma City police arrested James at NW 10 and Rockwell Avenue. Alexander was found and arrested in Midwest City.
