Oklahoma City Police have arrested a man accused of terrorizing gas station clerks on the city's northwest side overnight.

It was around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday a man came into the Circle K on N.W. 39th and Meridian. He had a brief conversation with store clerk, Shicolette Wallace, who has been working the overnight shift the last four months.

"We don't sell beer after 2 a.m. It's 2:37 a.m. There's no need to ask me what time it is to buy beer. That's when I started feeling like, 'Okay, this don't feel right.' He was just walking around, giving me a weird vibe," Wallace said.

Wallace said the suspect then began inappropriately touching himself. He left the store but came back several times. She saw him leave in a dark red mini van.

Police received a similar call around 3 a.m. from a gas station clerk on N.W. 16th and Rockwell. In both cases the store clerks were working alone.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s. He has blonde hair and was wearing a red shirt and gray shorts.

Just after 8 a.m., News 9 learned that a man matching the suspect description was walking to Wyndham Garden Hotel at Robinson and 53rd when someone inside the hotel noticed him from the news and called police. Police arrived, and the man reportedly took off running to Santa Fe, which is on the other side of Broadway Extension.

Police caught up to the man and took him into custody. He has not been identified.
