Mustang Plows Into OKC 7-11 Store

A car crashed through a metro convenience store after the driver lost control around 10:30 Saturday night.

Fire crews say the driver was not able to stop when his Mustang slammed through the 7-11 near Council and Northwest Expressway.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the crash.

"Very fortunate, being a 7-11 on a Saturday night," said Major Cory Pritt, Oklahoma City Fire Department.  

"We got extremely lucky, especially with it going into the main entrance and all the way up into the cashier stand."

The driver of the car told fire crews he'd had trouble with the vehicle lately.
