ANADARKO, Oklahoma -

Anadarko police are looking for two persons of interest in connection to the shooting death of a male victim.

According to police, at about 8:14 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the report of shots fired in the 400 block of E. Texas Street. When officers arrived, they found one male victim who suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said a bystander tried to save the victim, and officers and emergency personnel took over the efforts when they arrived. The victim was transported by EMS to the Physicians Hospital of Anadarko, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police later identified two persons of interest in this case. They are 19-year-old Kaleb Knipp, a white male, and 19-year-old Christian Rolon-Medina, an Hispanic male. Police said they are considered armed and dangerous.

Anadarko police, as well as members of District 6 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, are actively investigating the incident. Police have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of family members.
