OKC Police Identify Two Found Dead In House Fire

Oklahoma City police have identified two people who were found dead in a house fire early Monday morning.

According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a house fire near S.W. 40th and Broadway.

Two people were found dead inside the home. The victims were later identified as 42-year-old Lilian Marie Mitchell and 33-year-old James Kalvin Myers.

The house was boarded up with no power, and it appeared the two victims inside were trying to shelter from the cold winter temperatures.
