GRDA Identifies Worker Who Died In Fall At Power Plant

The Grand River Dam Authority has released the man of a man who died in a fall at the Chouteau-area power plant Sunday.

He's been identified as 30-year-old David Hardman of Pampa, Texas. Hardman was a contract worker at the Grand River Energy Center on U.S. Highway 412 east of Chouteau.

He was working when he apparently fell 30 feet to his death. Justin Alberty, spokesperson for GRDA, said Hardman was working in the emissions area of the Unit 2 coal-burning facility when he fell.
