After a sunny Wednesday with highs in the 50s and 60s across the state, temperatures will cool down under clear skies and light winds.

We’ll bottom out in the low 30s with a few upper 20s across up north.

On Thursday we’ll continue to see the very pleasant weather for the middle of January. Sunshine and south winds will help boost our highs in the well above average category with highs in the 60s.

On Friday we’ll continue with the dry conditions with some clouds drifting in from the west during the afternoon. North winds will bring in some slightly cooler temperatures with highs in the 50s.

Friday night into Saturday we’ll be tracking a weak weather system that is diving southeast out of Colorado. This will spread lots of clouds over us with light rain changing over light snow across western Oklahoma Friday night. This could reach OKC by Saturday morning in the form of a wintry mix to light snow.

Currently the heaviest precipitation looks to fall across far southwest Oklahoma where some light snow accumulations will be possible. Overall temperatures will quickly warm above freezing into the 40s so anything that does fall will not stick around.
