Slow Cooker Chicken Stock
1 roasted chicken (bones)
2 carrots, roughly chopped
3 ribs celery, roughly chopped
1 onion, rough chopped
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 sprig fresh rosemary
Add
1 medium garlic, top chopped off
10 cups water
Place all of the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Remove the bones and then pour the broth through a fine mesh strainer. Store the stock in freezer bags and place in freezer till you are ready to use.
