STILLWATER, Oklahoma -

The Silver Alert for a missing Stillwater man has been canceled after police located the elderly man.

Shortly after authorities issued the alert, a Stillwater police spokesperson announced that they had found 94-year-old Karl Emmons. Details on where and how they found Emmons has not yet been released.

The alert was first issued around 6 p.m. Authorities say Emmons was last heard from around 12:45 p.m., when he drove off in a white 1993 Buick LeSabre with Oklahoma license plate number 880FPO.

Police have not released a photo of Emmons at this time. Again, police say he has been located.
