OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are on the lookout for at least three home invasion suspects who were caught on a neighbor’s security camera hitting a home in northwest Oklahoma City.

The crime occurred in the around 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 8, at a home in the 2500 block of NW 38th St.

Security camera footage from across the street from the victim’s house captured the suspects’ vehicle pull into the driveway. Two men then exited the vehicle and the driver pulled out and turned around down the street.

The two men kicked in the door and held a female victim at gunpoint. The suspects demanded cash and the woman complied by giving them her purse.

The victim told police one of the men threatened to shoot her, but the other was more skittish and told him to stop. The two ran out of the house, but dropped the woman’s purse in the process.

The neighbor’s camera then captured the suspects piling back into the getaway vehicle and driving off.

Police say the woman described the suspects as two skinny black males. The first was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a black and grey jacket. The second was wearing black pants and a black hoodie. One of the men was wielding a silver and black semi-automatic pistol.

Police searched the area at the time the crime was reported but did not find anything. The woman told police she did not recognize either burglar.

Authorities hope someone might recognize the suspects’ vehicle to help solve the crime. If you have any information, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
