Crews Investigate Fatal House Fire In SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A body was discovered inside a home that caught fire in SW OKC Sunday morning.

According to the authorities, just after 9:00 a.m., firefighters responded to the home at 1725 SW 18th after a neighbor reported seeing smoke. 

Crews arrived on scene and found the home on fire. It was extinguished and during salvage and overhaul operations, a body was discovered. 

Fire investigators and homicide investigators were called to the scene to investigate. The fire was rule accidental and the exact cause is undetermined.
