OKC Police Investigate Auto-Pedestrian Accident In West OKC

Oklahoma City police are at the scene of a hit and run, auto-pedestrian accident in west Oklahoma City. 

The injury accident happened shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the area of W Sheridan Avenue and N Western Avenue. 

A male stepped out into the roadway and was hit by a vehicle.

The vehicle drove away from the scene, but officers were able to catch the vehicle at NW 6 and Dewey. The driver was taken into custody.

Paramedics took one person to OU Medical Center in critical condition, EMSA reported.
