A Yukon police officer is lucky he wasn’t seriously injured after a pair of suspects rammed his police cruiser during a pursuit late Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m., police say two suspects threatened a woman with a knife -- then stole her truck.
Officers saw the truck near Interstate 40 and Rockwell and attempted to pull the driver over, but the suspects did not stop.
At one point the suspects in the truck rammed a Yukon police cruiser. That officer is OK, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution because the hit caused his airbags to deploy.
The suspects eventually ran and were quickly arrested. Their identities are not known at this time.
Oklahoma City Police were also involved in a short chase in the metro just after midnight.
Police tell News 9 an officer tried to pull a car over near SW 27th and Broadway for a traffic violation when the driver took off. At one point during the chase, the driver bailed and attempted to hide out in some bushes. He was found and arrested. His identity has not been released.
