N.W. 164th St. lanes shifted at SH-74 (Portland Ave.) today

The westbound N.W. 164th St. lanes are shifted to new pavement at SH-74 (Portland Ave.) and drivers can expect a slightly uneven driving surface at the intersection.

SH-74 (Portland Ave.) lanes shifted through mid-October

North and southbound SH-74 (Portland Ave.) lanes are shifted just north of Memorial Rd. for part of an ongoing widening project that extends to just north of N.W. 164th St. Additional changes to traffic include:

•    The dedicated right turn lane from southbound SH-74 (Portland Ave.) to N.W. 150th St. is closed and will remain closed through mid-October for the installation of utilities. Drivers will still be able to make a right turn onto N.W. 150th. St.

•    Eastbound N.W. 164th St. is narrowed to one lane at SH-74 (Portland Ave.) through mid-October. Traffic may still turn left or right from this one open lane of traffic, but motorists are advised to expect congestion at the intersection.

•    The speed limit on northbound and southbound SH-74 is reduced to 35 mph between Memorial Rd. and north of N.W. 164th St. as part of an ongoing project to widen SH-74. The reduced speed limit will remain until the project is complete in spring 2016. Drivers should plan extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.

US-62 (N.E. 23rd St.) narrowed in Harrah through Friday

The right lane of eastbound US-62 (N.E. 23rd St.) is closed at Dobbs Rd. in Harrah through Friday for ongoing surface repairs.
