Driver Tweets About, Photographs Victim After Deadly Automobile-Pedestrian Crash

A deadly auto-ped accident in Florida is gaining national attention for what the driver did immediately following the crash.

Police say 16-year-old Trevius Williams was hit and killed trying to cross the street after a trip to the store, according to WFOX-TV in Jacksonville. The driver has not been identified, but police say that driver tweeted about the crash and even took a photo of the dead teen’s body.

The driver is not facing charges, according to WFOX-TV. But the photo, tweets and another suspicious message referencing the driver possibly being intoxicated is being investigated.
