A man was arrested in Oklahoma City, after police said he threw a rock at an officer’s patrol car, causing the windshield to crack.

According to police, at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, an officer was driving his patrol car westbound on Main Street at Shartel, when he heard a loud thump on the driver’s side as if something hit the car.

The officer said he saw a man, later identified 24-year-old Alfred Jabatty, throw an object that appeared to be a rock or chunk of cement at the officer’s car. The rock reportedly hit the patrol car’s windshield, causing it to crack and spiderweb across the entire windshield.

Jabatty was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of throwing object at moving vehicle. He also has warrants out for trespassing and violation of deferred sentence.
