Crews Battle House Fire In SE OKC

Crews battled a house fire in SE Oklahoma City Friday evening.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to a reported fire at a home in the 6100 block of SE 55^th Terrace around 5:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, crews reported heavy flames coming for the garage area that was spreading to the attic of the home. They extinguished the blaze in under a hour.

The garage is heavily damaged and the entire home sustained smoke damage.

The investigation into the cause is ongoing.
