Semi Belonging To Edmond Memorial HS Topples Power Pole Near UCO Campus

Emergency personnel are on the scene after a semi hit a power pole near the Univeristy of Central Oklahoma campus, Thursday evening.

Crews were called out to the scene near N. Chowning Ave and E. Ayers St. where the semi struck and brought down some electrical lines. The semi was a band equipment truck for Edmond Memorial High School. No one was injured.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Electrical workers have been called out to fix the problem.

Edmond fire fighters are blocking traffic in the area while crews work the scene.
