Riversport Rapids To Bring More Adventure To OKC

A massive $45 million whitewater rafting and kayaking center is taking shape next to the Oklahoma River and downtown Oklahoma City. 

“Riversport Rapids” will stretch across 11 acres next to the Zip Line and Sky Trail attractions. 

Senior Project Manager Jeff Gustin said Riversport Rapids will also feature a 25,000 square foot main building, with three restaurants and retail space.  

Boathouse District Executive Director Mike Knopp said this will be yet another game changer for Oklahoma City.

“With this Whitewater Center, with the Zip Line and Sky Trail, we literally will have more adventure in downtown Oklahoma City than any other major city in America,” he said.  

Riversport Rapids is scheduled to be open by May.
