OKC Police: Woman Shoots Boyfriend In Face By Accident

Oklahoma City police are investigating after a woman reportedly shot her boyfriend in the face by accident late Thursday night.

According to police, just before midnight, the man arrived at their home near N.W. 11th and Villa. That scared the woman who was sleeping, and police said she shot him by accident.

The man was transported to OU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not arrested the woman, but are looking into the couple's background. 

Police have not identified the couple at this time.
