The response has been overwhelming for an Edmond resident who continues to show her support for police.

On Wednesday, Victoria Woods posted a banner outside her financial services office in Edmond.

The banner reads, “We support our Police Officers and their families.”

Signs that read the same have been posted in several Edmond neighborhoods.

“It just means the world to me. We can’t do enough for them,” Curt Collins said.

He picked up his sign from Woods on Monday.

So far, Woods thinks she has given out about 400 signs and has plans to make more.

When she ran out of signs to hand out last week, people donated about $200 to make more.

“This confirms to me that we have so many good people and they do care and they want to do something,” Woods said.

Woods has received phone calls from people in California and Texas who want to start their own pro-police campaigns.
