OKLAHOMA CITY -

Formal charges have been filed against four suspects in the shooting death of a man during a home invasion in northwest Oklahoma City.

Mikecala Goosby, David Love, Devon Shaw and Steavquann Orange have all been charged with first-degree murder  and robbery with a firearm in the death of 37-year-old Tuan Lam.

According to police, on June 24, the men kicked in the back door of Lam’s home in the 700 block of N.W. 151st Circle. Several witnesses at the scene told police that the suspects, who were armed with guns, ordered them to lie down.

Witnesses said Lam was in the garage when he heard the commotion and opened the garage door. Some of the suspects saw Lam and said “there he is,” before they ran towards him. Witnesses told police they then heard gunshots. One suspect then grabbed a witness and forced him into another room.

According to police, that room contained a closet equipped with a key pad lock. The witness said the suspects shot the key pad lock, opened the closet door, and took a large black duffle bag and a small backpack. The witness was able to escape through a door inside that room.

Police said there were several surveillance cameras inside and outside the house. They obtained surveillance footage of the suspects and released the video to the public. Since then, police said they received numerous tips and were able to identify the suspects.

Investigators said they also received information from a witness that one of the suspects told them they went to the location to rob the “weed man,” and that during the course of the robbery, they were surprised by Lam and shots were fired, which resulted in the Lam’s death.
