My 2 Cents: U.S. Nuclear Deal With Iran Is Disturbing

I've been mum on the U.S. nuclear deal with Iran, waiting to see what's really in it. But now the Associated Press is reporting that in a side agreement with a United Nations agency, Iran can use its own inspectors to investigate a site they've been accused of using to try to develop nuclear weapons.

Did you follow that?

Iran will inspect the site, where they've denied doing anything wrong, and then they'll report back on whether they've been doing anything wrong there, like trying to make atomic bombs.

So, they're going to blow the whistle on themselves. Iran is? Uh huh.

That's not the fox guarding the hen house; it's the fox guarding the fox house. It is ridiculous.

And even more disturbing is that the AP discovered the document explaining this side agreement is labeled "separate arrangement II”, which means there must be another side arrangement between Iran and the UN Atomic agency that we haven't heard about yet.

These are outside of the deals President Obama and five other world powers made with Iran, and are sure to stoke the doubts Congress is having.
