SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -

A thief sneaked on to a Shawnee woman's property, stealing an ATV and more. Now the woman is asking for everyone to take a good look at photographs to help return the vehicle.

The woman says the stolen ATV was vital to help her complete her work around the farm because she has several medical conditions. Now she just hopes someone will hear her plea to return her work vehicle.

“Private Property” and “No Trespassing” signs line Deana Seely's rural Shawnee property. But the warnings didn't stop someone from sneaking onto her property and taking her Rhino ATV.

“I couldn't believe it. I thought you know maybe somebody drove it behind. I walked all over behind the barn. It was gone,” said Seely.

For the past 15 years, Seely has called the property home, using it as an escape from city life. But Seely now believes her rural home makes her a target for crooks.

“There's not a house every 20 foot. They can get in and out and not be seen or heard,” she said.

And this isn't the first time items have gone missing from her property.

“They've stolen my saddles. I don't know if it's the same people, but they've taken my tools, air conditioners. Just anything that's not nailed down,” said Seely.

In addition to the Rhino ATV, about a thousand dollars’ worth of tools were taken too. But the ATV was the most crucial tool for Seely working on her property.

Seely suffers from both Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis and needs the help of the ATV to maintain her property.

“It's like almost a necessity out here for me,” she said.

A necessity that she wants and needs returned.

Seely now warns her neighbors to keep an eye out so none of their stuff goes missing too.
