David Payne's Biggest Fan Surprises Him During Newscast

A precocious 7-year-old is David Payne's biggest fan and he got to spend an afternoon with the chief meteorologist in News 9's weather center.

Tuesday, Daem came back to the News 9 studio to surprise David Payne with a cake and a storm tracker pickup he made out of Lego pieces.

"I am his biggest fan," David Payne said after Daem gave him his surprise gifts.

This will probably not be the last we have seen of Daem. He wants to be a chief meteorologist and said he will be taking over David Payne's job when he gets older.

David Payne also invited Daem to come back to the News 9 weather center when more exciting weather is in the forecast.
