OKC Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teenage Girls During Slumber Party

An Oklahoma City man is facing charges for child sex crimes after an incident over the weekend involving his girlfriend’s 15-year-old daughter and her 14-year-old friend.

Police arrested 52-year-old Weldon Washington on two counts of Lewd Acts with a Child, on Monday. The alleged incident occurred while the girls were having a sleepover at the 15-year-old’s house.

According to the report, Washington began inappropriately touching the 14-year-old as soon as she arrived over at the home. The girl told police she verbally and physically rebuffed Washington then, but his advances continued throughout the evening.

The 14-year-old girl told police that they went to see a movie that night and Washington tried to place his hand on her leg.

After the movie the girls told police Washington drove them to 7-11 to get soda, then out to Lake Hefner where he made inappropriate advances toward them both. The girls said they continued to refuse Washington and eventually they all drove back to his apartment.

While at the apartment both girls told police they began to feel “loopy and drowsy” and that they had trouble speaking. As they sat on the couch, both girls told police that Washington again began to kiss and touch them inappropriately.

One of the girls eventually spoke up and told Washington they needed to leave. Washington then drove them back to the 15-year-old’s home.

The next day the 15-year-old told police that Washington had come over and tried to apologize. She also told police that it wasn’t the first time he had tried to touch her.

Police were called on Sunday and spoke with the 15-year-old’s mother. The mother told police that Washington was just a friend and not her boyfriend, and stated that he helped her out with odds and ends.

She also said she usually goes over to his house, but during the summer months he visits her more, and checks on the kids while she is at work.

Officers could not locate Washington on Sunday, but on Monday he was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. His bond was set at $30,000.

The case remains under investigation.
