Holtzclaw is accused of sexually assaulting women while on duty as an Oklahoma City police officer. He was fired from the police department following his arrest and an internal investigation.

Meanwhile, Holtzclaw is out of jail on bond with several restrictions. He is on house arrest and required to wear a GPS monitoring device.

According to court records, Holtzclaw did not charge the battery on his GPS monitoring device. As a result, the device did not monitor his activity on July 19, 2015 from 12:20 a.m. until 7 a.m.

Although he immediately reported the violation, Judge Henderson said it's something the court takes seriously. Holtzclaw was taken into custody immediately following the court hearing.

This is the second time Holtzclaw has  violated the conditions of his bond.  His trial date is set for October.
