Oklahoma City left its house of horrors in Omaha with four straight losses, but a change in venue seemed to be just what the doctor ordered.

The Dodgers pounded out 17 hits while the pitching staff gave up just one hit in a 7-1 win over Round Rock Friday night.

Things didn’t look good out of the gate, as Ryan Strausborger led off the first inning for Round Rock with a single, stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error by OKC catcher Ralph Henriquez, then scored on a sacrifice fly from Brett Nicholas.

But that was the only offense the Dodgers would allow on Friday. Eric Stults rallied to retire 21 of the last 23 batters he faced, pitching seven strong innings while striking out six. David Huff pitched the last two innings, giving up a single walk.

The Dodgers tied the score in the third inning and then took the lead with two runs in the fourth. OKC scored two more runs in the fifth and seventh innings.

The score could have been much worse, but the Dodgers were just 4-of-18 with runners in scoring position and left 14 runners on base.

The two teams are back in action at 6:05 p.m. Saturday night.
