Police in Warr Acres have released very little on the death of a 28-year-old woman.
Tuesday night, police investigated the woman's death as a homicide, but now they question if the shot was self-inflected.
The neighborhood near NW 58th St. in Warr Acres returned to its usual quiet state Wednesday morning. Only a purple glove left behind by a medic showed any trace of the crime scene from the night before.
Around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, police were called out to 5600 block of NW 58th St. after receiving a report of a gunshot.
A noise neighbors never heard. Neighbors also say they never heard the couple's dogs bark
“Nobody gets into that house without them barking. They bark all night long at birds flying from tree to tree,” said Isaac Speaker, a neighbor.

Neighbors and friends identify the woman as Kelsey Windham. Kelsey and her husband moved into their rental home less than a year ago according to neighbors.
Flashing red and blue lights brought Speaker outside from his father's home Tuesday evening.
“The whole neighborhood all intents and purposes were out standing around. ‘What's going on? What's going on?’” he said.
Neighbors say loved ones, visibly upset, were seen trying to get inside the home Tuesday night but were kept out by police.
“We offered them a place out of the rain. They sat in their vehicle. Brought them out a couple of chairs and some tissue and some bottled water,” said Speaker.
Speaker remembers the couple as friendly and neighborly. He, like the rest of the neighbors, is still shocked and hopes the family soon finds answers.
Windham’s husband was detained for a short time Tuesday night, but was released. Again, police say they have not determined whether the death was a suicide or a homicide.
