Happy Sunday, Oklahoma! It's all about the heat and humidity this afternoon! Highs will rise into the low and mid 90s but heat index values will rise to the lower 100s for some in N and NW Oklahoma.

There will be a slight chance for a few scattered showers and storms this afternoon, but the greatest coverage will be east of I-35. Like yesterday, anything that develops will have lightning, some heavy rain, and maybe some gusty winds. A severe storm or two isn't out of the question.

Heavier rain and storms are expected as the cold front moves into northwest Oklahoma Monday evening and Monday night and will bring a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms along with a risk of flooding. Justin Rudicel will have more on that later this evening!
