Showers and storms have been firing along a boundary located in northern Oklahoma. These showers and storms will drift south Thursday evening.

There is still the potential that these storms could become severe with large hail and damaging wind possible. Overnight lows drop to around 70 degrees.

Another wave of energy moves along the boundary on Friday. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.

Temperatures will be a little cooler on Friday, in the upper 80s, because of the additional cloud cover.

Chances for storms wind down on the Fourth of July, but they are still there.
