Teen's Body Recovered After Drowning On N. Canadian River In Harrah

The body of a teenage boy was recovered after a drowning incident on the North Canadian River, Saturday.

The body of a teenage boy was recovered after a drowning incident on the North Canadian River, Saturday.

Harrah police and firefighters located the body of the 17-year-old victim just after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

First responders were called out to the scene around 3 p.m. Investigators say the teen was with his family when he went under in the area of State Highway 62 and NE 23rd St. at the sand plant.

The victim has not yet been identified Authorities are still investigating.
