Blanchard Man Dies In Grady County Traffic Accident

A Blanchard man died Saturday morning in a Grady County accident, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The accident happened shortly after 11:55 a.m. on County Road 2970, troopers said.

Howard Lloyd Bell, 59, was driving a pickup southbound on County Road 2970, and the pickup drove to the left of the roadway. When the driver over-corrected, the pickup rolled over and hit a tree, troopers said.

Bell died at the scene from head injuries. He was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
