Driver Injured After Crashing SUV Into South OKC Apartment

A driver was injured after crashing an SUV into an apartment in south Oklahoma City, Tuesday night. 

The accident was reported at the Remington Apartments, located at 7101 S. Santa Fe Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Oklahoma City police.

Fire crews said the driver of the SUV was extricated from the vehicle and transported by EMSA in an unknown condition.

According to police, a couple was inside the apartment at the time. The woman was trapped in her bedroom for several minutes following the collision. No one inside the apartment was injured. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
