OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are looking for a man who reportedly cashed a stolen check at a northwest Oklahoma City bank.

According to police, at about 4:15 p.m. on May 23, officers responded to the incident at Bank of Oklahoma inside Homeland, located at 11120 N. Rockwell Ave.

The suspect reportedly said he was told by his boss to cash the check. The bank contacted the victim, who said he never authorized the check to be cashed, and that the check had been stolen during a home burglary.

On Tuesday, June 16, police released a photo of the suspect who cashed the check, which was made out to a “Brett Selzer” for $625. If you recognize this man, or have any information, call Crime Stopper at (405)-235-7300.
