Jersey Mike's Subs and its customers helped raise over $43,000 in an effort to help fight childhood hunger in Oklahoma.

This past March, Jersey Mike's Subs teamed with the Regional Food Bank as part of the nationwide campaign “Day of Giving”. In which, Jersey Mike's Subs donated all of the proceeds from its participating metro, Lawton, and Altus stores. A total of $43,329 was raised and will help feed over 216 children.

“This promotion was a huge success because of our customers,” said Charlie Brown, franchise owner and area director for Jersey Mike's. “The donations came from Oklahomans, and we want to thank them for helping feed hungry kids in the state.”

Last year, $36,800 was raised.

“One in four children in Oklahoma struggles with hunger,” said Rodney Bivens, executive director of the Regional Food Bank. “No child should have to worry where their next meal will come from. Thanks to Jersey Mike's ‘Day of Giving,' we can ensure that more children will receive the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.”
