Authorities: Love County Jail Escapees Back In Custody

Authorities said two inmates, who escaped the Love County Jail through a hole in the wall, are back in custody.

Authorities said two inmates, who escaped the Love County Jail through a hole in the wall, are back in custody. 

According to the Love County Sheriff's office, 22-year-old Richard Waugh and 21-year-old Leroy Jefferson III dug a hole in the wall to escape. Both suspects were last seen wearing jail-issued uniforms with black and white stripes.

Waugh is in jail on multiple charges, including first and second degree rape, and Jefferson is in jail on charges related to shooting and killing his brother. 

At about 10:30 a.m., the Sheriff's office confirmed that both suspects are now back in custody.
