Man Accused Of Recording 'Upskirt' Video Of Underage Girl At SW OKC Restaurant

An Oklahoma City man is accused of using his cell phone to record video up the skirt of a young teenage girl as she unknowingly stood in a buffet line at a restaurant on the southwest side of the metro, Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the Taste of China restaurant, near SW 89th St. and S. Western Ave., in reference to a sex offense just before noon on Sunday.

When police arrived they saw the young girl's father and mother detaining the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Jesus Meza-Barrios at the check-out register of the restaurant. The father handed police a smartphone and told police it belonged to Meza-Barrios.

According to the report, the girl was in line at the buffet when Meza-Barrios walked up and stood very close to her. According to the mother, who allegedly witnesses the crime, Meza-Barrios then put his cell phone under the girl's skirt and started recording. The mother said she got the girl's father, who then confronted Meza-Barrios.

At first, Meza-Barrios denied doing anything wrong but, according to the police report, later admitted to the father that he was recording video of his daughter. The father took the cell phone and asked the manager to call police.

Police then arrested Meza-Barrios on a charge of Peeping tom by Use of a Recording Device without the Victim's Knowledge. Details on a bond were not available. The cell phone was also booked into evidence.
