Showers and storms already forming in southwest Oklahoma are generally moving northeast into the metro. These storms will be strong-to-severe with large hail and damaging wind but flash flooding and isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Another round of storms is possible late Thursday night, this time coming out of the northwest. Stay weather aware as we go through the evening and overnight hours.

We will stay mild and humid Thursday night with lows in the mid-60s.

The storms that move through late Thursday night will push east Friday morning. Additional scattered showers and storms will move through Friday afternoon and evening. They also have the potential to become severe. We will finally get a break this weekend.
