Your 2 Cents: American Indian Cultural Center And Museum

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

The legislature has voted to give the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum to Oklahoma City with some money to complete it. I think it's a golden opportunity for the city, not all of you agree.

Carey writes, "Just build a stock car racing track over there it would be more useful, since every Native American Nation in Oklahoma has a capital and museum already."

Cindy in Shawnee, “I don't agree we should finish it i think they should turn it into something else along the river. Maybe it would be a good place for the convention center for maps."

Jason from Tuttle writes, "We all of a sudden can spend 25 million on a culture center that the casinos could more than pay for but we can't spend $100 bucks on our state parks that are falling apart…"

Joyce says, "The different tribes have never got along and they certainly do not want to participate in this venture or they would have done so."

Finally from Kathy, "I think it's a must have for Oklahoma we should show honor, respect and love to our beautiful Native Americans!”

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's Your 2 Cents.
