New Developments In Logan County Burned Body Case

There are new developments in the murder of a Blanchard man whose body was found near some burning leaves in a Logan County field last year.

Shawn Masters had been tied up, beat up, and then set on fire.

On Friday, Twila Wise pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the felony charge of desecrating a body, and accepted a sentence of a 5-year suspended sentence. She will receive credit for time served, but will have to serve one year in prison.

Wise is already serving a three year sentence for a prior crime.

Angel Munoz pleaded guilty to murder and accepted a sentence of life in prison as well as a 7-year sentence for the desecration charge.

Brandy Hanson, Quentin Goodwin, and Johnny Snow all waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Hanson has agreed to testify against the other defendants in this case.

Jesse James Dalton, the man accused of ordering the murder of Shawn Masters and the man currently in prison accused of two other murders, had charges dismissed in this case. Prosecutors were not able to prove that he ordered the hit.

John Worchester has also pleaded guilty in this case, but it's unclear at this time what he has agreed to. That information is set to be released at 1:30 p.m.

Tyson Lott is set for a preliminary hearing on July 8. He is accused of beating Masters.
